Centrally located for local activities, Quaint architectural charm, Unique local dining experiences
Maintenance needs urgent attention, especially the plumbing!!! Small bathrooms are far from comfortable and should be addressed!!! Limited parking availability can be quite frustrating when arriving!!!

The room was spotlessly clean with fresh bed linen.
The parking situation was misleading with limited free spots.

Charming outdoor seating, Quaint architectural charm, Proximity to Chepstow Castle
The bathrooms are unbelievably cramped!!! The lack of clear parking instructions creates unnecessary confusion upon arrival!!! Improvements in room maintenance would also greatly enhance the guest experience!!!

missingWrote a review on Dec 06helpful staffdietary accommodationslocal atmospheresmall roomcar park difficulties
I spent a night exploring this location and had a lovely lunch there. The staff were friendly and helped with dietary needs. The curry of the day was fantastic and my partner enjoyed it too. I felt welcome during the entire visit and the local atmosphere made it enjoyable.
The room was quiet small, and navigating multiple car parks was frustrating. A lack of a lift made carrying luggage difficult. Noise from nearby bars was evident at night.

The staff was really lovely, especially those two bar guys, they made me feel safe and welcome. the location was spot on, close to everything I wanted to see so that saved me a lot of time and hassle.
Sure, it wasn't exactly inexpensive, but it was a decent price for what I got.

Comfortable room with a clean vibe. Limited parking spots made check-in tricky. Close to horse riding and a golf course.

The intimate reception rooms, with their stunning old oak, felt like a warm embrace from another era, making the entire stay feel delightfully charming and nostalgic.
A lift would make access easier for seniors.

Enjoyed the warm welcome and friendly service, along with a comfortable room and a great location for exploring. the shower desperately needs improvement, and I encountered a musty smell in the room. it met my needs for the weekend though.

missingWrote a review on Sept 09river viewcharacter hotelawkward furniture
I really enjoyed the lovely view of the river Severn from my room, and it was nice to find the hotel full of character from the later middle ages. The garden offered a great spot to relax with some comfy seating and a peaceful vibe. The only minor issue was the strangely shaped room, which made the furniture feel a bit awkward. 😊
